![]() ![]() ![]() The older versions of qBitt work without any hassle, but the new/updated ones are a pain in the ass and won't even let me open. Unfortunately latest newest qBittorrent v4.5.0 doesnt silently overwrite existing files anymore, which is probably why most users who have duplicates in various folders or many files with same name in different locations fail to move files and expect newest qBittorrent to continue to have old versions behavior that overwrites files if have one. I'm on Catalina 10.15.2.ĮDIT: I think this is coming possibly from qBitt itself, if that's even possible (it doesn't make sense that it would though.perhaps the new version triggers something in my Mac's security). It actually doesn't give me an option to add qBitt to the "safe list," but my Mac used to, which is why I'm so confused how these changes happened with no action on my end, and no solution that I can find. I didn't change anything, so idk where this is coming from. And this is a new occurrence, say for the past 6 months or less. Are you talking System prefs > security & privacy in qBitt? Or Chrome? I went there in Chrome and qBitt was already added on there as "allow incoming connections" in the Firewall tab. It doesn't give me that option, and for years it always would (via the round question mark button or somewhere else in very plain sight). 1/6 qBittorrent for Mac is a peer-2-peer (P2P) sharing application that provides an alternative to µTorrent.
